Michael O'Malley is a trained mediator, having completed the Supreme Court Administrator's Office required General Civil Mediation course. He has been involved in hundreds of facilitative mediations in his career. Having handled a myriad of matters across all areas of law, with cases valued at a few thousand to the tens of millions of dollars, Michael O'Malley is a uniquely qualified and skilled facilitator or arbitrator who works hard to find the middle ground to assist clients in reaching an equitable and efficient resolution of hard cases.

Michael also has significant experience in construction projects/contracting, representing both contractors and clients in the construction process.

Michael O'Malley is a skilled and experienced appellate attorney. Throughout his career, Michael has handled suits from filing through the conclusion; even when the conclusion is at the appellate level. He has handled appeals in both the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court. Several Court of Appeals Judges have remarked on Michael's ability to simplify complex issues through the written word and in oral argument. Mike is available to consult or handle appeals on all types of matters.

Criminal Law

Michael utilizes his decades of experience to assist clients in defending themselves in criminal matters. He has handled the defense of multiple criminal matters including drunk driving (OWI) offenses, domestic violence, retail fraud, and assaultive crimes.
